ANIMATION

Oak have thoroughly enjoyed using stop motion animation to create short sequences of the sinking of the Titanic.  They made story boards, focussing on camera angles, created sets and props and used iMotion and iMovie to produce and edit their short films!  Great fun and hugely successful.

MACBETH

Oak have been studying Shakespeare's Macbeth.  They particularly enjoyed performing the opening scene.

DT

The children thoroughly enjoyed, designing, making, testing and evaluating model lifeboats for the Titanic.  They investigated buoyancy and stability in the water.  Some vessels were more successful than others at transporting a load of 200g!
