Oak Summer 2023

This term our class theme is Global Warming: what have we done to our planet and what can we do to help it?

In addition, we will be visiting London, as well as performing the eagerly anticipated end of year play.

Our class book is Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo.

Categorising waste

Oak had great 'fun' categorising the waste that the H family created in one day!  After lengthy sorting, it was agreed that 96% of the 'waste' could have been recycled or reused!  It was established that, on average, the Family H dispose of 104 black bin liners of rubbish every year!!!  That's 2040 bags of rubbish over the last 20 years!!! That's just 1 family!

Coronation Celebration

Oak joined the rest of the school for a 'street party' to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.  They even had surprise visitors!
